About TrackInPublic
TrackInPublic is a habit tracker with a public page. You check in once a day per habit, and your page at trackinpublic.app/your-name shows the streaks, the milestones and a 26-week heatmap to anyone with the link. A day closes at midnight in your timezone and cannot be filled in afterwards, from the app, the API or the MCP endpoint.
Who makes it
The product is designed, built and supported by Robin Monteiro, who runs Go To Agency, a small software company in Dijon, France. Go To Agency SAS publishes the site; its registration details are on the legal notice. There is no larger team behind the name: support messages are answered by the person who writes the code.
Where the numbers come from
- Every figure on the site (pages live, streaks alive, check-ins, the leaderboard, each profile) is computed from the database when the page is built. The homepage recomputes them every hour. None of them is typed in by hand.
- A check-in can only be written for today. Rows dated earlier than the day they were written can only come from imported or test data, so they are left out of every streak, total and milestone.
- Two accounts hold sample data: /robin, the demo page framed on the homepage, and /reviewer, the login given to app-store reviewers. Both pages say they are demos, and neither appears in search results, on the leaderboard or in the site totals.
- A profile appears in search results once it holds about a month of real public check-ins (30). Before that it stays reachable by its link only.
How the blog is written
The 15 articles on the blog were researched and drafted with an AI assistant in July 2026, working from the papers listed under each article. The figures were checked against those papers, and every reference link was checked before publication. Where a popular claim does not hold up, such as the 21 days to form a habit or the 95% success rate credited to accountability partners, the articles say so and explain where the claim comes from. Each article is published under Robin's responsibility as director of publication; if you find an error, write to us and it will be corrected.
How it is paid for
By the Pro plan: €3 a month, €17 a year or €39 once. There is no advertising on the site and no affiliate link in the articles. Audience measurement is described in the privacy policy.
